Sea World, San Diego.

This sensational delight was the reason I joined friends and family at Sea World, to celebrate her first birthday.
Happy Birthday Lyla!

Such a strange animal.

The penguins were definitely one of my favorite parts.

These jellyfish were quite beautiful, they reminded me of clouds.

This Eel was gigantic. He seemed to be 100 years old....his head was the size of a mans! He was so still, until I took the picture, his pupils dilated. I felt kind of bad.

These are shark eggs....if you looked closely you could see the baby sharks swimming in the sacks. Cool!

Las Vegas, Nevada

Check out the moon!

I absolutely love traveling. This particular trip was a short one. My brother and parents live in Las Vegas, I went for just a few days. Las Vegas is often glamorized.

Desert-
1. a region so arid because of little rainfall that it supports only sparse and widely spaced vegetation or no vegetation at all: The Sahara is a vast sandy desert.
2. any area in which few forms of life can exist because of lack of water, permanent frost, or absence of soil.

Norton Simon Museum part 2 or "So remarkable as to elicit disbelief."

Arlen and Natasha love art.

You will see images that I already posted in a previous entry, they are so beautiful I thought you would like to enjoy them again.

I love this, the brown you see is the actual card board that Edgar Degas drew this piece on, with pastels!

My niece loves Pablo Picasso.

This is for Tarra, the "woman with the mandolin"

I found this frenchman to be quite attractive. If I were around in the 18th century, I'm almost positive he would have been my boyfriend, or lover. ha!

Maurice-Quentin de La Tour, a self portrait.....Thanks Emily!

These colors are known as "candy box colors", cute, huh?

Norton Simon hosts some of the most famous works of art.
It's become one of my favorite places to escape. I suggest if you visit to pay $3 for the self-guided audio tour. You will learn a great deal and have a truly enlightened experience.
These photos barely capture the awe and fantastical beauty as the live pieces. duh.

It's summertime in California, and we're kids...
